I think the best thing for that place if will close. I was in the queue last Sunday 21th with my friends, and I saw something incredible, the doorman push a guy just because he wants to ask why he couldn't get in.They're so rude, than they did so many checks (worst than an airport!!!)Inside the atmosphere was boring, the floor was dirty and I waited 15 min.for two Gin&Tonic "Are you joking???" I'll never go back there! I'm sure is the worst place in Central London.

I went there last fri 5th dec for my birthday and had a fab time, booked a area in vip and my friends and i were treated like stars, from when we went through the nice doormen all the way through to leaving, we got a bottle of wine and cocktails all round as it was my birthday !!! and the manager in charge was at our beck and call, also had a nice waitress, the music was a mix of rnb, dancehall and chart hits !! was wicked and the dj played all our requests !!!! fab champange cocktails as well the Bellini was to die for. And to top the nigth off we got about 5 pizzas which went down well after all the drinks !!! one word of warning . . . the floor gets really slippery !!!! but other than that !!! fab night out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All these 5-star reviews for this club are obviously made up by people who work for Metra. For a start they all sound the same (who would book a table in the VIP area at Metra for their birthday anyway?!). This woman gave me a card saying £15 on it but when i got to the front i said it was originally £10 so they let me in for that price. They probably didn't want any controvesy! - Report

Booked a big area for my birthday party and was given a complimentary bottle of bubbly and free cake too! Whoever says you can't have your cake and eat it was lying. Thanks Metra it was definitely a birthday to remember!

Deciding to go clubbing as a last minute decision on a Sunday was possibly going to be hard. However, Metra Club was brilliant. The entry was only £5! DJs played RnB and commercial music all night long and me and my mates didn't leave till the lights went on at 3am! I will definitely be back again!

Metra is a great place for a fun night out. I had my hen party there, as it was the only club that helped me when I emailed around about being able to wear fancy dress. Everyone was impressed with the setting and we all had a good night. We booked out the VIP area and had our own bar with our own waitress! The service was great and the waitress we had was very helpful. I will definitely be back soon!

I went to Metra at the weekend and it was the best decision I have ever made! The staff were really bubbly and the music was really good. Drinks weren't as expensive as I'd anticipated for a club in central London and I loved the atmosphere. The crowd was a good mix of both guys and girls (unlike other clubs I've been to in London). The admin staff at Metra are also fantastic, as I asked many questions via the website which were all answered before my going to Metra and a guest list was sorted out for me and my friends by the admin team. I would definitely go back to the club and would recommend it to anyone!

I visited the place on 22 November Saturday. The problems started at the gates. For some reason they have asked all of us for IDs. They scanned the IDs (which they have no right to do, this is a personal information and Metra is not a Metropolitan Police.)Then you have to pay 15- yes fifteen pounds only to get in. Then 2 pounds to leave your coat at the cloakroom. Maybe some of you will say..C’mon man… don’t be a Uncle Scrooge. But I would have not mention it if the money were well deserved by the staff. But no! I bought a drink (all drinks are too expensive) I left it for a moment and in a minute it has been taken by a overzealous waitress. I stopped her and fortunately saved my drink. But the second one I could not save. It was taken away while I was dancing. According to the wise rules at Metra you have to clutch your drink all the time …when you are dancing, when you are going to the toilet or….a piece of free advice to the ones that will go there. Hire a bouncer to look after your drinks while you are enjoying yourselves .But do not leave your drinks even for a moment.I wanted to speak to the manager. I guy turned up. The music was loud (it is a nightclub so it is normal) I asked him, whether it is possible to go at some quite place ,because we have to shout to each other to understand what the other saying He arrogantly sneered at me and he declared proudly that if I am keep shouting at him I will not achieve anything. All the time the DJ is mumbling something in some strange language (definitely not English)So if you really want to enjoy yourselves go to another place. This is the worst nightclub in London I have visited for the last 6 years.

Travelled from leeds to visit london for the weekend, staying in canning town, whilst walking through west end looking for somewhere to go out a pushy tout collarded us to join the que for Metra, so we asked how much to get in and asked if our clothing would be accepted and he said yeah. so we waited 40 mins in the que during which trouble broke out at the door and several staff and doormen where involved in a mele- anyway to cut a long story short the police turned up and neutralised the situation at which point the bouncers began letting the que in, for me and my 3 friends to reach the door and be turned away because they said no groups! If this was the case why was the tout begging the 4 of us to come in in the first place??? So didnt even get the chance to see what this was like inside, the bouncers seem like something out of the cold war, russian or maybe Eastern European, when we reasoned that the tout had made us que for 40mins they just told us to move like they couldnt even understand the english we spoke to them.. Very rude, ruined our night as by that time we couldnt get into anywhere and eneded up walking round like mugs trying to find somewhere that would let in. Very disapointing :(
