Fancied something different last week so decided to try Upper Glas as they do Swedish food. I'd never had Swedish cuisine before but was pleasantly surprised!

Really hearty, tasty food served up by very pleasant staff. Not too expensive either. I'd really recommend giving Upper Glas a go.

I went to Upper Glas the other day, and my partner and I were very excited since we are both Swedish. The herring starter was very nice and authentic, but what a disappointment the main course was.

We had two different fish courses and the food was completely drowning in butter and oil. This is not modern Swedish cuisine. Swedish cuisine is fresh and light. The ingredients were very nice so it's a shame that the end result at Upper Glas was so unsuccessful.

Upper Glas? Oooooh how grand! If, however, you can ignore the pomposity of its name, I have it on very good authority that Upper Glas will be a little gem. Apparently there is another Scandinavian restaurant in London owned by the same lady and it is exceptional. Still.... Upper Glas?

Can we have a review of the restaurant as opposed to an assessment of their name please? Anyway, the restaurant is on upper street........ - Report
